User manual:

1. Use compass:

   • Open the top cover of the compass (if it is closed) to see the compass needle.
   • Hold the compass horizontally so that the needle can move freely.
   • Wait until the needle stabilizes and points north. The needle has a tip that points north (N).

2. Using a sundial:

1. • Position the compass so that the needle points north.
   • Sundials work when the sun is visible. Open the sundial arms to create a shadow on the dial.
   • Adjust the arm (gnomon) to the appropriate angle, depending on the time of day and latitude.
   • The shadow that is created on the dial will indicate the current solar time.

3. Storage:

• • After use, close the compass and sundial, if they have a cover, to protect the mechanism.
  • Store the device in a dry place to avoid damaging the leather strap or metal parts.
